A 13-year-old Pennsylvania boy says he shot his grandparents to death because they called his mother a whore. ABC News is reporting Zachary James Proper, of Oil City, was charged with criminal homicide in the weekend shootings of Dorothy and George Fross.
According to reports, state police say that Proper used his iPod headphones to mute the noise and turned his head as he aimed a gun stolen from his grandfather at the back of his grandmother’s head.
He then allegedly called his grandfather to alert him that he would be helping him bring in items purchased from the store when he return. When he arrived about 10 minutes later, Proper allegedly ‘dumped the gun until it jammed‘ and could no longer shoot. He then allegedly stole their car, dumping the gun in a storm drain.

Proper then went to his cousins to spend the night where he told no one about the incident. Police were called when Proper’s parents, concerned about their son’s well-being, couldn’t reach the Frosses by phone. Reports say their son told them his friend shot and killed his grandparents.
Proper is being held without bail.
